About the Qiblih
The Qiblih is the Point of Adoration that Bahá’ís turn toward when reciting the daily obligatory prayer: the Shrine of Bahá’u’lláh at Bahjí, near ‘Akká.
The direction above is a great-circle bearing — the initial heading of the shortest path over the Earth’s surface — measured clockwise from true north, not magnetic north. It is calculated in your browser from your device’s location, which is never stored or sent anywhere. The page does not track which way you are facing, so the figure does not change as you turn.
